AM I ABLE TO GET DIRECT BILLING FOR MY APPOINTMENT?In short, YES! We do direct billing for insured members and secondary plans where allowable for most insurance providers, this includes: - Sunlife - Canada Life - Empire Life - Blue Cross - Greenshield - Manulife & more Make sure to fill out the Extended Health & Insurance Form prior to your visit and our reception will be able to process the direct billing during your session. DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?A doctor’s referral is not required to book an appointment. However, It is possible that your insurance company may require you to see a physician and obtain a referral. Feel free to contact your Insurance for more information on your specific plan.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY FIRST VISIT?To save time, we ask you to complete the online intake form, health insurance form and consent (if you have insurance and want us to direct bill for you) and covid-19 screening form that was sent to you, through email.

WHAT FORMS DO I NEED TO FILL OUT?After you book in, we will send you an Intake Form via email. If you do not receive it, you can always fill and submit one here. The more detail you fill in, the better the Physio will be able to assist your needs and goals. We also require that you fill in a COVID-19 screening form for every visit. This will also be sent to you on your booking.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?We advise you to dress in comfortable clothings, such as a t-shirt, shorts & sneakers.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?Have your Extended Health Insurance card & information ready if you opt for direct billing. Also bring your doctor's requisition if applicable. Please dress comfortably. Movement will be required!

IS THERE ANY PARKING?There is street parking directly in front of the clinic on Bathurst or free 1-hour parking Markham st.

WHAT WILL A PHYSIOTHERAPY SESSION LOOK LIKE?The Physiotherapist will conduct a series of orthopaedic tests to assess movement. Some of the movements will be performed by you, others, by the physiotherapist. Assessment involves the reproduction of your symptoms for diagnosis and treating planning. Please do not hesitate to tell the Physiotherapist anything that you are not comfortable doing. The initial visit will include both assessment and treatment.

WHAT WILL AN CHIROPRACTIC SESSION LOOK LIKE?The Chiropractor will ask a series of questions and conduct assessments to test your muscle strength, reflexes, and range of motion. He may feel your spine, move your joints and watch the way you walk. Based off the information provided, your clinician will create an individual treatment plan followed by 20 – 30 minutes of treatment. Please do not hesitate to tell the Chiropractor anything that you are not comfortable in.

WHAT WILL A MASSAGE THERAPY SESSION LOOK LIKE?The Massage Therapist will begin by learning about your health history, determine how your body is feeling and your expectation from this session.Your Massage Therapist will use various methods/ modalities to reduce pain, tension, improve movement, improve flexibility and relaxation. Please do not hesitate to tell the Massage Therapist anything you need to ensure your session is as comfortable as possible.

WHAT WILL AN ACUPUNCTURIST SESSION LOOK LIKE?The initial assessment will consist of 20~30 minutes of assessment and brief explanation of TCM. Based off the information provided, your clinician will make a TCM-based diagnosis and form an individualized treatment plan followed by 30~40 minutes of treatment. Please do not hesitate to tell the Acupuncturist anything that you are not comfortable in.
